The Granite State Baseball Association played on our field this past fall here at
Colby-Sawyer College.  It was an outstanding day of baseball.  Our staff had the
field.  It worked out to be a great day of recruiting.  We look forward to doing it
again this fall.

Colby-Sawyer College Head Coach

I think the Granite State Baseball Showcase Fall Leagues is a fantastic idea. It
gives us the opportunity to see some of the better New Hampshire
upperclassmen in a much more manageable manner than in the traditional
season. In the spring time we are trying to see players from all over New
England in a very short period of time and we are always battling not only the
elements and time constraints but also our own schedules. In the fall, we have
more opportunity to see these players and the weather is usually perfect.

Plymouth State University Head Coach

"The Granite State Baseball Association is one of those programs that
fills in the gaps for college coaches. If a coach missed a New Hampshire
player or two during the Spring or Summer, he will be sure to find him
in the Fall with Granite State. The competition level is very high,
even though some of the top players are involved in other sports. The
players that participate are college-type players. The GSBA coaches do a
great job of getting the players into the games for the college coaches
to get a good look. Since the program finishes before the early signing
period, it gives coaches one last time to make the tough recruiting
decisions."

Head Baseball Coach Saint Anselm College

It was a pleasure hosting the GSBA last fall as it gave Keene State College the
opportunity to bring some great talent to our facility and gave the players an
opportunity to showcase themselves in front of many college coaches.   We look
forward to seeing them again, not only  this Fall as well as many more to come.
Keep up the good work!

The Granite State Fall Baseball Association participated at Brother Reynolds
Field on the beautiful campus of Salve Regina University in Newport RI.  Both
games were well played with very good baseball talent on each team.  It was a
pleasure to meet Shawn Manfredo the Director of the Granite State Baseball
Association and his coaching staff.  The coaches and the staff associated with
the program were great and very professional.  I like the way Shawn Manfredo
runs his program; it allows the college baseball coaches to observe good
players and allows the players to see great universities.  Great job Shawn and
your crew.

The Granite State Baseball Association is an outstanding program that gives
you a chance to see some of the top players in New Hampshire in a very
professional, well run completive environment.  Trying to recruit in the spring
time is a challenge for all of New England colleges, and you just can't get to
every game you want to.  The Granite State event allows you to see a player
more then once, playing with and against some of the top players around.  I
would high recommend the Granite State event to any player that is serious
about playing at the next level.

Newbury College Head Baseball Coach

The Granite State Baseball Association helps high school players in three ways
it extends their playing season so that they are playing for about six months,
players are competing with the best local talent in the state and most importantly
they play in front of college coaches who in turn can help them get into college.

As well as being the head baseball coach at Gordon College I have had the
privilege of serving as the head coach of the Salem American Legion team for
the last three years.  Last year we had several of our Legion players play in the
GSBA League and all of those players are on college rosters this fall.

The Granite State Baseball League is a great opportunity for players from
Northern New England to get exposure to college coaches. As a college coach,
it is often difficult and frustrating to see and evaluate multiple players in the short
fall season. The Granite State League is a well run, high class league that
allows college coaches to see many quality players at one venue in the fall.
Good luck to Mike , Shawn and crew to keep this going as a premier league in
New Hampshire

I have been the Varsity coach at Londonderry for the past 5 years and
am constantly looking for the best opportunity for our boys. One of my
bigger frustrations was the fall season in NH. There were scattered
leagues around here and there, but the level of competition was
inconsistent at best. I had given up on the fall when some of my players talked
about this program. I decided to check it out and found that it is run as
well as any summer leagues (Legion or Sr. Babe) and the product is
highly beneficial for both the high school team and the players. I am a
huge advocate for this program and will continue to highly encourage my
players to participate.

Brent Demas
Londonderry High School Head Coach

The Granite State baseball league is an excellent opportunity for high school
athletes to master their skills for the high school season. As the Head Baseball
Coach of the Pinkerton Academy Astros I have seen first hand how my players
have benefited. I recommend the league and encourage Pinkerton players to get
involved.

Ron Manseau
Pinkerton Academy Head Coach

The Granite State Baseball Association has given players the opportunity to
improve their skills during the fall season while playing against top-notch
competition.  The ability to play against some of the best players in New
Hampshire, with the added benefit of being watched and evaluated by college
coaches, is a great opportunity for these players.  The players from Salem High
School who have participated in this program, as well as the Salem High
baseball program in general, have greatly benefited from their experiences in
the GSBA and I highly recommend it.
